Leitzalarrea

Leitzalarrea is common land that can be reached along a 10-km track and offers the opportunity to visit unspoilt woodland in a beautiful isolated spot. Pleasant walks with information boards explaining the flora of the wood.

The Izaieta Fir Forest, an area that has been declared a Natural Monument, dates back to 1832. The Ixkibar Recreation Area is located just before the fir forest and has tables, barbecues and information boards setting out the different signposted walks.
